Aussie World Age Team begins training
The Australian Age Team have arrived in St Petersburg and have had their first scheduled training.
Australian coaches, Jarrod Herriot (TRP) and Kerry Smyth (DMT) are confident of a successful result at the World Age Competition and believe the team is preparing well for competition.
For the officials Tuesday will see the draw of the judges panels for the World Age Competition and a series of judges briefings. Many of the Australian judges are participating at the World Age Competition for the first time as new FIG Brevet Judges. Australian FIG Brevet 2 Judge, Belinda Cox has already participated in the World Championships and will be accompanied by Zoltan Mirko (TRP), Leigh Oswin (DMT), and Damian Ryan (DMT).
The competition begins Wednesday with the qualification round of the Under 13 Individual Trampoline, Under 15 Tumbling, Under 17 Double-Mini, and the Under 19 Synchronised Trampoline. We wish the Australian Age Team the best of luck in their competition.
