Indo Pacs conclude in Japan

More success for Australia on the final day of competition.

The final day of competition of the Indo Pacific Championships was held on Saturday.
 
Once again, the Australian team had success with a trifecta in the under 17 mens dmt. Matthew Weal displayed a solid performance in the final round to win the gold medal, with team mates, Hayden Woodfall and Mathew Henry winning the silver and bronze medals respectively. In the womens event, Leanne Van Rensburg won the gold medal against strong competition from South Africa & Canada. 

 
In the under 15 mens individual trampoline competition, Blake Rutherford performed a near flawless final routine to move up into 3rd place behind the two Japanese.
 
In the tumbling events, Haylee Wellard performed four solid passes to win the 17+ womens event.

 
National coach, Nikolay Zhuravlev was pleased with the way the Australian team had performed in Japan, indicating the strength of trampoline in Australia.
