ACR World Champs

Congratulations to the Australian Acrobatics team on a successful trip to Poland for the World Championships & World Age Championships.

Two athletes from each federation were asked to represent their countries at the opening ceremony. Representing Australia and proudly carrying the flag at the World Age Championships was Eliza Hui & Jacob Faour. At the World Championships this honour was given to Ingrid Dunkerley and Kate Ryan.

With the temperature hitting 37 Celsius in Wroclaw, the conditions were stifling with the air conditioning unable to cope in the training hall. Thankfully the conditions on the competition floor were somewhat cooler. All athletes adapted and coped extremely well in the difficult conditions, coming away with some fantastic results. 

A special mention must go to the 11-16 Women's Trio of Katrina Kissock, Madelyn Bennett & Rachel Cook who qualified for the finals and finished in 8^th place, a fantastic effort and result for this young trio.

Congratulations must also go to Catherine Sharwood on judging at her first ever international competition.
